I wonder what this little chap has had his nose in? I love the personality that the squirrel shows here. We have tons of these guys and they are a blast to watch. Great capture here with the soft light and excellent sharpness. Very well done!
This little guy was very busy. He had a large store of chestnuts hidden in the hollow base of this tree, and he was going into a hole just under the base, making a tunnel and nest, and moving some of the chestnuts from the nest into the hollow area. Every time he came out, he had fresh dirt on his nose!
